Laura Williams-Burke is a writer and cat mom with Pennsylvania roots.
After earning degrees in political science and communication from Susquehanna University, Laura wrote for a small-town newspaper. Her work was recognized with the prestigious Associated Press Managing Editor’s Award for general news reporting.
In the past, Laura worked as a claims specialist with the Social Security Administration, and as a family assistance specialist for the Department of Defense.
When she isn't reading or writing, Laura can be found cheering on her hometown sports teams, volunteering, practicing yoga, or listening to music.
Born and raised outside Philadelphia, Laura resides in Massachusetts with her husband and two teenage felines: Milton and Bailey.
